Monologue 1: Rudy hates his job.

 I hate this job! I hate the hours. I hate the pay. I hate how every cracked out homeless psychopath goes out of their way to go into my store, and find me. I hate how time loses all meaning, stretching and elongating and challenging Einstein’s theory of relativity. I hate all the subtle encouragements to turn off my brain every time I walk through that door. I hate watching the people who have, plodding and waddling through the isles, looking through coupons and price comparing in a store that makes its money by ripping you off. I hate that a smile is considered part of my uniform. I hate the rude, thankless, spoiled customers who’ve been wrong all day, and are just itching for a place to always be right. When do I get to always be right?
